Location: Wanstead, London

For this project on the Warren estate in Wanstead, we built a ground floor extension, complete with an extra large  skylight, a living roof, utility room, W.C, underfloor heating, recessed blinds and impressive,  mood lighting.  

The front room was refurbished, adding panelling to the walls and bespoke carpentry to the alcoves,  including a full height, log store.

To the rear, we landscaped the garden, to include built in flower beds, lighting and a spacious garden office with a hidden shed area, seating and a pergola.

The loft was extended, creating a master bedroom suite with a stunning en-suite with striking Wall & deco, water proof wallpaper, a free standing bath and blue tooth speakers in the ceiling.

Built in wardrobes, cupboards and drawers were added, all with recessed LED lighting and expertly designed by Summit co-owner, Julian.

All four of the first floor bedrooms were refurbished to include bespoke carpentry and wallpaper or murals.

After much research into local building companies, we chose Summit to carry out a large renovation project on our family home.  
We couldn’t be more happy with the service that we received over the months that they were with us. We remained living in the house with our three children and dog. The team were incredibly hard working, tidy and polite at all times. Julian, Summit’s co-owner managed the build and would visit most days to discuss our ongoing project and answer any questions we may have.
 
Each tradesperson needed throughout the build were employed by Summit. This meant that there were never any delays waiting for subcontractors which seems to be pretty rare in the building industry.
 
Julian is not only a great communicator, he also has fantastic design skills and we actually made a few amendments to our architects plans because of his suggestions. We had lots of bespoke carpentry built throughout, from wardrobes, to cupboards and our entire utility room. Julian designed it all, drawing his plans on the wall for his talented carpenters to build. It was truly amazing!
 
Overall, we cannot fault Summit as a company, and recommend them to everyone that needs any major renovations. Their craftsmanship and high quality finish is second to none and we can’t thank them enough for building our dream home.
