This impressive family home underwent a ground floor extension and internal reconfiguration that transformed both its structure and the way the space is lived in. What began with an outdated layout, has now become a modern, beautifully balanced home designed for comfort and effortless everyday living.
A key part of the project was removing the old extension and constructing a new, light filled structure complete with large sliding doors and roof lights. This instantly opened up the rear of the home, creating a bright, generous living space that flows seamlessly into the garden.
Inside, the ground floor was completely reconfigured to suit modern family life, improving functionality, and sight lines throughout.
Living on site, the clients remained at the heart of the process, and our team took great care to ensure the home remained secure, safe, and fully functional each day. Respectful site management was a large part of maintaining a smooth and stress free experience for our clients.

One of the first things I liked about Vadym was that whenever we had discussions about our outline plans, he would offer alternatives and give us ideas, whereas other builders just gave us a price. So, although my husband was the architect for the project, Vadym brought his experience and insight at all times.
We asked Summit for a quote because I had seen them working across the road and I was impressed by how tidy the site was. In fact, Summit were not the cheapest quote but I think in the long run they have been the best value for money because there is always clarity about the costs and no hidden extras.
The project involved knocking down an old extension, building a new one with sliding doors and roof lights and reconfiguring the internal space. From day 1 until the project was completed, the team arrived very early, worked hard all day and cleaned up afterwards. We lived on site during the whole process and they were always respectful and helpful, ensuring that our living arrangements were secure and functioning.
