Location: East Dulwich
For this ground floor extension project in East Dulwich, we demolished the existing conservatory and built a ground floor, extension with steps to the well manicured garden.
The extension compliments this traditional, period property well and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

The main focus of our contract with Summit was to replace a traditional glass conservatory with a new space involving a substantial redesign and different construction. In addition, Summit arranged the installation of new, double glazed sash windows for two rooms, a new back door and carried out other repairs/improvements such as some re-pointing and replacing guttering etc.
In the tendering process, we were impressed by Vadym’s perceptiveness and practical approach to the proposed project. We particularly liked the commitment and hard work of the team – for example the thoroughness of their preparations, such as the protection of the existing wood floor which survived the project without damage.
The quality of the finish is very high. The new space looks great and we are absolutely delighted with it.
For the duration of the main work on the project, the team proved to be enthusiastic, hard working, reliable and effective. For the most part we had good communication with Summit: particularly important given the challenges at the time the work was done – at the end of 2021 and the early months of 2022. The team came up with innovative and creative solutions to one or two problems which occurred during the project.
Overall, we are very pleased with our new space (and the new windows and door). Everyone who has seen it since the work was completed has been very impressed by the quality of the work.
