“My wife and I decided to use SGBC for our basement works after a tender process involving several high quality contractors. SGBC’s pricing was reasonable compared to the others, and given it is very unlikely we will ever do works of this scale ever again, the choice of contractor was so important – the difference between the process being difficult, stressful and draining and exciting.

Bottom line is, we couldn’t have got it more right. Vadym and literally every single one of his team that came to site were delightful. From the ground-works crew, to the bricklayers, the electricians, the plumbers, the decorators, the tilers, the joiner (who is a literally one of the most skilled craftsmen I’ve ever seen work) and of course Vadym himself….they were all very polite, unbelievably hard working, respectful and talented.

We’ve reflected on how the process could have gone (the team were with us 15 months) and my wife and I literally can’t fault these guys. They did what they said they would do, they kept to budget and most importantly, the quality of the workmanship that we have been left with is outstanding. The finish is just exceptional.

If you have a big job that you are hoping will turn your home into your dream home but that whole notion makes you feel nervous that it may all go wrong along the way, then you need to call SGBC.
