Project Details
Location: Blackheath
For this Blackheath project, we demolished most of the original property, building a spacious four bedroom family home in its place.
On the first floor, we created a luxury primary bedroom suite, containing an elegant ensuite and dressing area.
The extension to the rear of the property is well designed, with different zones cleverly created with partitions and well chosen furniture making the space effortlessly multi functional.
Mood lighting has been expertly installed throughout the property and the plumbing, heating and electrics all updated to ensure long term efficiency and comfort.
To the rear, we built a spacious outhouse, complete with a sauna, kitchen and bar area with bi-folds opening out onto the landscaped garden.
We thoroughly enjoyed working with our clients on this project and wish them all the best in their new home.
The owner says...
Summit recently undertook a comprehensive rebuild and remodel of my existing house, which included an extension of the orangery (supplied and fitted by Westbury), a loft extension, garden landscaping, the construction of an outhouse, and a new driveway. I chose Summit over other builders because they offered the most reasonable pricing, and Vadym was easy to get along with—very relaxed and approachable, with no job too big for him.
I was thoroughly impressed with everything about Summit. They were incredibly reliable, competent, and the quality of their work was outstanding. The finish was of a great standard, and although a few movement cracks have appeared, Vadym assured me that they will be back to rectify in 6-8 months when everything should have settled. The team were timely, reliable, friendly, professional, and diligent—truly a fantastic group to work with.
All the work was completed as expected, and in fact, everything turned out better than I had imagined. There were a few minor errors by the architect, but Vadym always had a solution, offering positive alterations to the original plans that improved the overall outcome.
I am extremely happy with the overall work—I’d rate it an 11 out of 10.
