Project Details

Location: Bow

Located  within the Tredegar Square Conservation Area, in Bow, East London, this project involved the meticulous extension and refurbishment of a Grade II listed property. Our team took great pride in bringing the architect’s bold vision to life, blending contemporary design elements with the historic character of the building.

Key features of the build include the soaring ceilings of the new extension, with clerestory windows that flood the space with natural light. Beneath a walk-on glass panel, a formerly redundant light well has been transformed into a unique display space for artwork, adding both light and intrigue to the lower ground floor.

The monolithic kitchen island, crafted from rammed concrete, is a standout feature that anchors the space with sculptural elegance.

The project extended outdoors, with a landscaped garden designed to be a serene sanctuary. Our team integrated a peaceful water feature, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere.

This project required precision craftsmanship and thoughtful problem solving, which our team embraced wholeheartedly. We always enjoy the challenge of working within a conservation area, transforming a historic property into a functional, visually stunning home while preserving its heritage.

The result is a space that beautifully balances tradition and innovation, making it a truly breath taking family home.
