Location: Buckhurst Hill, Essex

For this Buckhurst Hill project, we demolished the rear of the property, then under our advice to make the most of the potential ceiling height, we added the wide steps down into the new extension. We redesigned the hallway staircase, adding the elegant balustrades, which adds wow factor upon entering through the front door.

Additionally, our team constructed a large patio area to the rear of the extension, with cedar wood fencing and a built in flower bed to provide potential privacy for our clients.

We are extremely pleased with the final results at this project. Our clients and the lovely Lennie, the Yorkshire terrier, were an absolute pleasure to work with. We look forward to returning in future for phase two of the renovation.

We had Summit Builders round for a quote and immediately wanted them to do our extension! We had seen their previous work and had spoken to other people who have used them that said, they have the best finish and couldn’t fault them. My partner and I were both quite particular about how we wanted things and were also worried about the mess of having builders in and living there at the same time. We needn’t have worried, as they were the tidiest, cleanest, most professional company! Each and every builder was polite and friendly and made us feel at ease throughout the entire process, especially Andrew, Victor and Andre. We actually missed them when they had gone! Julian helped us come up with several design ideas throughout the process which we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves and we now love! After the extension had finished, they came back after Christmas to touch up any bits and pieces that needed doing, without even being asked to. Everyone who sees our home now asks who did our extension as the finish is exceptional! We cannot wait to start the 2^nd part of our extension upstairs and would only have Summit Builders do it.
