Project Details

Location: Wanstead, London

For this Warren Estate project we built a rear extension, utility room and re-adjusted the internal space to improve the ‘flow’ of the living area.

On the first floor we created a luxury ‘master suite’ containing an ensuite and dressing room. A guest bedroom and family bathroom were also carved out of the ample remaining space. To top it off we added two rooms and another bathroom in the newly created loft space.

Outside, we built a bespoke garden room with cedar cladding and a large patio area visible through low profile sliding doors. We landscaped both the back and front garden and applied a pre coloured silicone render to the exterior walls and a resin finish to the driveway.

Our carpentry team were kept extremely busy with this project. Under the direction of the client we designed a variety of bespoke storage for hiding the evidence of a young family’s busy life whilst maintaining a tidy minimal look.

In addition to the simple storage cupboards dotted throughout their home, we built a sleek AV unit to compliment the smart living room interior along with the wardrobes and shelving needed to create a luxury dressing room.

Summit converted the loft, reconfigured the 1st floor, installed 3 bathrooms, bespoke cabinetry throughout, rewired and plumbed everywhere, built an extension, re-rendered, landscaped the garden, built a garden room, installed a new driveway and built the kids a climbing frame! There isn’t anything of the original house left.

Summit were an absolute pleasure to work with, they went above and beyond to accommodate our requests (which often meant changing things). Their team were always here, always worked a full day and took a real pride in the work they did.

We did our works in two phases and where possible Julian used the same team for both. Vasili is now part of the family! We lived in the house for Phase 2 and Julian and the team made us a comfortable kitchen/lounge space and planned all of the works around us being in the house at the same time as them.

The quality of Summit’s work is excellent, they take pride in their finishing and high standard of workmanship. I would highly recommend them for any large project. We will defiantly be working with them again in the future, but for now we get to enjoy the finished product!
